File Upload Location

Data from the Edge can be uploaded to an FTP site or used with a local folder on your PC.

If using FTP, you or your developer must host the site and we will need:

• Login information for the FTP including address, user name, and password.
  • Login must have permission to read, write, create, and delete both files and folders.
  • May need configuration details if not using default port.
  • Must be accessible over the internet with any firewalls properly configured.
• FTP timeout must be set to at least 300 seconds (Control Channel & Data Channel Timeouts).

 

If using a local folder, it must be accessible with full read/write permissions on the computer running EDT.

Store License

You must purchase the EDT module. You will be issued a new Edge license that enables this.

• Contact our Administrative department to purchase at 866-580-3343 or admin@ajsllc.com.
• If using FTP, be prepared with FTP information; this is required before an EDT enabled license can be issued.
• EDT must be installed on a functioning Edge workstation.
  • EDT runs in the background and does not interrupt PC use.
  • This workstation can still be used for all regular Edge operations.
